ImotionX is happy to announce that Farhan's Group, Ruzzana's Group and Dexter's group
are the nominees for THE 2nd SINGAPORE SHORT FILM AWARDS.

Changing Collars: Media Practitioners vs. Media Educators Director: Muhd. Farhan B. Zallani Rating: TBA / 10 mins An investigative documentary which challenges the maxim 'Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach', in the sphere of media education. Muhd Farhan B. Zallani is currently studying at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College West.

Love Director: Dexter Chang Jia Rong Rating: PG / 10 mins A mother blames her daughter for all the bad luck in her life, forcing her to work in order to pay off their enormous debts. But when the mother falls ill, the relationship betweeen them takes a different turn. Dexter Chiang is currently studying at ITE College West (Choa Chu Kang).

Three Director: Ruzanna Binte Rozen Jaya Rating: PG / 11 mins Three best friends fall in love with the same guy and have to choose between love and friendship. An ITE College West student in her second year majoring in Digital Audio Video Production, Ruzanna wishes to pursue a career in the filmmaking industry in the future. Three reflects the memories and friendship she treasures from school.

V1k1 - A Techno Fairytale Director: Tzang Merwyn Tang Rating: PG / 30 mins Fairies have but one rule, and that is never to be discovered. Viki, a techno fairy, must be careful to avoid being outwitted by an intelligent human scientist, holding her brother hostage in his laboratory. Tzang Merwyn Tang is an independent script writer / film director with two award winning 45-minute films to date. Tzang's films are characterised by his rather offbeat style, often set in a surreal environment, incorporating elements of fairytale and comic fantasy.

And also V1K1 is another short film where ImotionX crew help out in the crew. V1K1 is also being selected into the competition.
